Grundtvig Actions - Mobility for Individuals
Who or what is Grundtvig?
Nikolaj Frederik Severin Grundtvig (1783-1872) was a Danish philosopher, theologian, teacher, historian and poet. He is regarded as the father of the Folk High School and as a staunch supporter of educating adults for active participation in society as opposed to the more abstract pursuits of scholars.
The Grundtvig funding programme focuses on all forms of non-vocational adult and continuing education. It is targeted at learners, teachers, trainers and other staff in adult education and the educational institutions, organisations and other bodies offering and facilitating such learning opportunities.
Our Grundtvig training offers
The central activity in the INTERTOOL-project is the development of a training course for adult education staff on intercultural team management.
Our course offers are included in the Grundtvig 3 database, therefore those who wish to participate can obtain a training grant to cover both the course fees and accommodation and subsistence costs. In order to do so, you should contact your Socrates National Agency in your country. We have prepared some material for you in order to make the handling of formalities easier. Check under "Formalities" on the left.
